Enrolment Process

The College accepts enrolment applications at both the start and mid-point of each year, dependent on program places that are available. In special circumstances, Year 12 applications are considered for the start of the year with consideration to the chosen pathway, access to subjects and determination of appropriate number of units to satisfy the requirements of the Victorian Certificate of Education.  All applications are considered based on available positions at each year level. 

All families are encouraged to lodge an application for enrolment at Box Hill Senior Secondary College and general enquiries can be directed to our Front Office on 03 9890-0571. Given the limited places in our programs, particularly in our high quality vocational and industry-based pathways courses and sports specialist Academy programs, families are encouraged to provide as much information regarding your child’s interests, subject preferences, passions or potential pathways options so that we can provide a full and rigorous academic and pathways based approach to your child’s education. Our College has high expectations and aspirations for all of our students, so we thank-you for your interest in Box Hill Senior Secondary College.

In most cases, prospective enrolments need to be prepared to attend a transition interview.

International Student Enrolment

Box Hill Senior Secondary College is a Victorian Government School and all applications should be sent to the International Education Division of the Department of Education and Training, Victoria which has overall responsibility for managing the International Student Program in Victorian Government schools and assessing all applications.  Parents wishing to enrol their child at Box Hill Senior Secondary College are welcome to register Box Hill Senior Secondary College as their first preference on the application form.
